Fishing Charters
The Tobermory experience is much broader than Scuba Diving. Our
cool, crystal clear waters provide excellent fishing. During your
relaxed day of fishing, you will be surrounded by some of the
best scenery that Ontario has to offer. The limestone cliffs of
the Niagara Escarpment provide a dramatic backdrop to the deep
blue waters of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. The lush green
foliage of the Bruce Peninsula cedars warm the air with an
irresistible clean scent that will bring you back to Tobermory
year after year.
The Bruce Isles has been fishing these waters for more than 50 years - just about
as long as her captain!Our fishing charter packages are run in the early morning - or at dusk, which coincidently is when the fish are biting! Charter lengths vary but usually run from 2-4 hours. Cost is $85/hour (2 hour minimum) with up to 12 passengers. Price includes use of electric downriggers all fishing equipment, our expert guide service and filleting of your catch. We are committed to providing you with the most memorable fishing experience possible....rich in stories of local history & fishlore all surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Georgian Bay shore...it dosen't get much better! |

Think our scenery and fresh air are great? Just wait until you
see the fish you will catch! Salmon fishing will provide the most excitement. Boy - do those babies fight! They also have a wonderful flavor especially when barbecued. However, our Steelhead trout are the best tasting fish when cooked in any manner. Our fishing season lasts from May until October. However, you will have your best luck as follows: • Salmon - July to September • Trout - June to August Fishing licenses are available locally. |
